In memory of my grandmother, who inspired this story. She always helped all of God’s creatures. One day she found an abused cat at her doorstep. She nursed him back to health and gave him a safe home and all the love in her heart. Half of the first two years of proceeds from The Gift of Mittens went to Popcorn Park Zoo in memory of Audrey Huyler, my grandmother.
